He furthered his medical training in General and Laparoscopic Surgery at Shri M. P. Shah Government Medical College and Guru Gobind Singh Hospital, Jamnagar, a prominent tertiary care center known for its busy clinical environment. This experience provided him with a solid foundation in managing a diverse range of surgical cases.

After practicing as a General and Laparoscopic Surgeon in Mundra and Bhuj, Dr. Chauhan developed a growing interest in oncology. To refine his skills in cancer surgery, he trained for three years at P.D. Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Mumbai, under the mentorship of respected leaders in cancer surgery:

• Dr. Sultan Pradhan: A well-known figure in Head & Neck Cancer surgeries and founder of HNCII, India's dedicated center for head and neck cancers.
• Dr. Murad Lala: Specializes in thyroid, parathyroid, and parotid surgeries, also known for his achievement of climbing Mount Everest.
• Dr. Ganesh Bakshi: Former head of Tata Memorial Hospital's Uro-oncology division with expertise in robotic surgeries.
• Dr. Ganesh Nagarajan: Noted for his work in complex pancreatic cancer surgeries with innovative vascular reconstructions.
• Dr. Hemant Tongaonkar: A key contributor to Gynecological and Uro-oncology surgeries in India.
• Dr. Vinay Deshmane: Known for his work in breast cancer surgery and research, particularly in gene methylation.
• Dr. Sudeep Shah: Specializes in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary surgeries.
